Andrei Popov

I have a Ph. D. degree in Mechatronics Engineering, Aerospace specialty. I have experience in programming C/C++, Fortran, Python, Matlab/Simulink and Labview.

I have professional knowledge of static stress, linear, non-linear and aeroelastic failure analysis by FEM: ANSYS Mechanical Workbench, AEDT Electronic Desktop and SimScale.

I have knowledge of mechanical design CAD tools: Solidworks and OnShape.

I have 10 years experience design, simulation, testing and control of permanent magnets synchronous motors (PMSM), brushless direct and alternative current (BLDC, BLAC) motors applied in EV, robotics, aero drones.

My work

You can hire me to work on your project full time or part time at a fee of 75CA$/hr or 55US$/hr remote simulation or design work. For working on site motor testing and test bench setup the fee is 105CA$ or 75US$.
